The BERNARD Gruppe is shaping the mobility of tomorrow. As part of the integrated urban development concept (ISEK) of the town of Abenberg, the BERNARD Gruppe will develop a mobility concept for the historic center and castle area.

The ISEK, managed by the design firm Haines-Leger Architekten, forms the basis for the sustainable development of Abenberg. The BERNARD Gruppe is contributing its expertise in mobility and transportation planning in a targeted manner. Our tasks include the development of a comprehensive multimodal mobility concept that takes into account the historic center with the castle area. Current traffic count data will be used, which also include transit traffic. Based on this, a well-founded SWOT analysis will be carried out to assess the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and risks of the current traffic situation. After incorporating these findings, we will develop an action plan. Active support for public participation will also be an important part of our work. Specific dates for public participation will start in May 2025. The first events have already been defined and will be communicated in good time.

With our experience and our interdisciplinary approach, we are making an important contribution to the sustainable urban development of Abenberg.
