Privacy statement

The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the legal regulations (GDPR, TKG – Austrian Telecommunications Act). The following data protection declaration informs you about the collection and processing of personal data on this website. It is intended to explain to you how we handle your personal data and what you can expect when you use our offers.

Collection, Processing and Use of Personal Data

Cookies

Every time you visit this website, data (partly personal data) is automatically collected and processed. The following information is collected to compile visitor statistics about the use of this website, to improve the website and to protect it from cyber attacks:

  • Date and visit of the URL on which the visitor is located,
  • URL that the visitor visited immediately before,
  • browser used,
  • operating system used,
  • IP address of the visitor.

In order to be able to make your visit to our website more attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, so-called “cookies” are used. These are small text files that are stored on your computer. No personal data of yours will be stored. After a browser session has ended, the cookies used are deleted from your hard disk (so-called “session cookies”).

Google Analytics is NOT engaged on this website and therefore no data is transmitted to US companies for this reason. Services from US companies currently pose particular data protection risks because the USA does not have an appropriate level of data protection under the GDPR and you may not be able to effectively enforce your rights.

By agreeing to the setting of cookies on this website, you consent to the processing of the data collected about you in the manner described above and for the purposes described in the cookiec settings.

More about this and how you can decline and delete cookies in our cookie policy.

Web statistics: Matomo (self-hosted)

For data protection reasons, we do NOT use GoogleAnalytics on this website for the statistical evaluation of usage, but rather the self-hosted version of the open-source tool “Matomo” (formerly “PIWIK”) (server location and hosting operator in Austria). As a result, no data is transmitted to servers or third parties that are beyond our control. The analysis is deactivated when you visit our website. Your usage behavior will only be recorded anonymously if you give your active consent.

For this purpose, the information obtained by Matomo (e.g. date and time, title and address of the page accessed, address of the previous page (if this allows it), screen resolution, etc.) is transmitted to our server and stored so that usage behavior can be evaluated. Your IP address and your user ID as well as your location will be anonymized; this way you remain anonymous as a user. The information generated about your use of this website will not be passed on to third parties.

We see this analysis as part of our service and would like to further improve the website and adapt it even more to the needs of the users. You can decide whether a web analysis cookie may be stored in your browser to enable us to collect and analyze statistical data.

Google Adwords Conversion Tracking

We use the online advertising program “Google AdWords” and conversion tracking as part of Google AdWords from time to time. Google Conversion Tracking is an analytics service provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; “Google”). Services from US companies currently pose particular data protection risks because the USA does not have an appropriate level of data protection under the GDPR and you may not be able to effectively enforce your rights. If you click on an ad served by Google, a conversion tracking cookie will be placed on your machine. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days, contain no personal data and are thus not used for personal identification.

If you visit certain web pages on our website and the cookie has not expired, Google and we may recognize that you clicked on the ad and were redirected to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Thus, there is no way that cookies can be tracked through the websites of advertisers.

The information gathered using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords advertisers who have opted for conversion tracking. It tells customers the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a conversion tracking tag page. However, they do not receive information that personally identifies users.

If you do not want to participate in the tracking, you can object to this use by preventing the installation of cookies by a corresponding setting of your browser software (deactivation option), switch off the cookie in the cookie settings or deactivate it here. From then on, you will no longer be included in the conversion tracking statistics.

Google Maps

This website uses the map service Google Maps. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Services from US companies currently pose particular data protection risks because the USA does not have an appropriate level of data protection under the GDPR and you may not be able to effectively enforce your rights.

In order to guarantee data protection and to prevent your data from being transferred to Google when you visit our website, Google Maps is initially deactivated. A direct connection to the Google servers is only established if you activate Google Maps yourself by clicking on “Reload” (consent according to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR).

After activation, Google Maps will save your IP address. This is then usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this website has no influence on this data transfer after activating Google Maps.

You can find more information on handling user data in Google’s privacy policy.

Social Media

For data protection reasons, our website does not use any plug-ins from the well-known social media networks (e.g. Facebooks “Like-Button”, Twitter “Tweet-Button”, …), since these buttons already transfer information about the linked social media network when the page is loaded, without the users having any influence on this.

Establishing contact, e.g. via online forms

If personal data is voluntarily transmitted via this website, e.g. as part of an inquiry or application for an open position, via an online form or email, the transmitter expressly agrees that the personal data provided by him and necessary for any legal transaction (e.g. title, first and last name, email address, your message, possibly also IP address, address and telephone number, file attachments, etc.) may be electronically recorded and processed.

We will store and process your data exclusively for your individual support, as far as this is necessary in the context of the respective case, for the purpose of processing the inquiry, sending information or submitting service offers and for the case of follow-up questions for up to 36 months, as long as they do not have to be kept longer for reasons of verifiability or statutory retention periods, and no further communication takes place and no customer or legal relationship exists. Your data will not be used for any other purposes.

Your data will not be used for any other purposes.

Disclosure of personal data

Of course, we will treat your provided information discretely and in accordance with the valid data protection professional regulations.

For the operation of this website we use the following contract data processors, which ensure the technical functionality and support us in online marketing:

In order to carry out these activities, these commissioned data processors may, for system-related reasons, have technical access to some of your personal data (e.g. as part of the operation of the website or during the regular backup of the website). Our commissioned data processors are obliged to all the above assurances and may not use this data in any way beyond what is necessary for the operation of the website.

Your personal data will be passed on to external service providers such as lawyers, tax consultants, auditors, suppliers, banks and debt collection agencies for the purpose of contract implementation and fulfilling legal obligations, including the prosecution of legal claims.

Furthermore, your personal data will not be passed on without your express consent, unless there is a legal permission or obligation (e.g. information to law enforcement authorities and courts; information to public bodies that receive data due to legal regulations, e.g. social insurance carriers, tax authorities, etc.) or if we involve third parties obligated to professional secrecy to enforce our claims.

Data access, correction, deletion, blocking

In principle, you have the inalienable rights to free data access, correction, deletion, restriction, transferability, revocation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection rights have been otherwise violated in any way, you can complain to the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Data protection authority.

The deletion of the stored personal data takes place if you revoke your consent to storage or if knowledge of this data is no longer necessary for the fulfilment of the purpose pursued with the storage. The deletion, however, only takes place after the expiration of the periods of the tax and commercial law regulations.

If you have any questions on the collection, processing or use of your personal data, or if you require information on, the correction, blocking or deletion of data, please contact:

Data security on the internet

The website is protected by technical and organizational measures against loss, destruction, access, modification or distribution of your data by unauthorized persons. However, despite regular checks, complete protection against all risks is not possible.

Please note that the World Wide Web is a publicly accessible system, and each time you voluntarily disclose personal information online, you do so at your own risk. Your data may be lost on the way or fall into the hands of unauthorized persons.
