The development of optimized transport solutions has been an essential part of our services from the very beginning. In doing so, we pursue the concept of multimodal mobility in order to ensure that the mobility requirements of the various groups of road users can be met in the long term. With our expertise we cover both passenger and freight transport.

The BERNARD Group is able to deliver complex projects from the initial idea to implementation from a single source. Our services begin with the collection of basic data (including traffic data, noise, air, vibration) using measurement systems that are developed in-house. We then use the data obtained to create concepts, e.g. for the intelligent control and guidance of traffic, or for traffic route engineering in the area of road, rail and urban traffic.

Our consulting services range from the preparation of traffic reports, setting up complex multimodal traffic concepts, and the design of parking & rest areas as well as of mobility hubs. Regulated or unregulated intersections and the coordinated control of traffic lights are part of our offer, as well as intelligent traffic computer systems. In the field of traffic route engineering we provide design services for inner-city roads, cycle paths, federal and regional roads as well as motorways. In the case of rail-bound transport infrastructure, we not only design railway and high-speed lines, trams, underground and rapid transit systems, but also new transport systems and people movers.
