In this project on behalf of ÖBB-Infrastruktur AG (a member of the Austrian Federal Railways) the BERNARD Gruppe is not only responsible for railway engineering design. We have also been commissioned with the noise and vibration analysis for the submission of the environmental impact assessment (EIA) documents.
In addition to the positive effects the planned measure will have on the overall railway network, the project will also result in far-reaching changes to the existing situation on site, which will be examined by ÖBB-Infrastruktur AG as part of the commissioning process. These include the positive effects of the increased curve radius and the modernization of the superstructure. Finally, we will analyze, as part of the noise and vibration report, the effects the immissions caused by the planned construction activities and the relocation of railroad and roads will have on neighboring residents.
