With its BERNARD Mobility Analyser (BMA), the BERNARD Gruppe is part of the project “AIR – AI-based recommender for sustainable tourism development” led by the Institute for Sustainable and Innovative Tourism at Kempten University of Applied Sciences.

The aim of the project is to guide visitors by using “gentle” methods. After being provided with relevant information, tourists can decide for themselves whether to avoid certain peak times, spread out better in public spaces or switch to public transport.

The BERNARD Gruppe’s camera systems collect current data on visitors and vehicles. This data, which is processed in compliance with data protection regulations, can then be used to provide information on websites, tourism apps or via dynamic information signs and thus direct the flow of visitors.
