People living in Armenia today are facing major challenges: More than a quarter of the inhabitants live below the poverty line – many even in extreme poverty. The infant mortality rate in Armenia is five times higher than in Germany. In addition to the still visible damage from the 1988 earthquake, the conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh is exacerbating the situation.
With our donation, we want to contribute to providing for the basic needs of the people in Armenia.
