The BERNARD Gruppe has concluded a new framework agreement with the municipal utilities Innsbrucker Kommunalbetriebe (IKB) for the period 2025 – 2027.

With more than 130,000 inhabitants on 105 km², Innsbruck is the most populous city in Tyrol, and the fifth largest city in Austria. Within this framework agreement, the BERNARD Gruppe will develop traffic control concepts and traffic guidance plans for IKB.

IKB is responsible for ensuring long-term supply and disposal services in the urban area. To this end, several projects are realized each year in public street spaces. During project implementation, construction site-related changes for pedestrians, cyclists, motor vehicle traffic and, in some cases, public transport are unavoidable. The BERNARD Gruppe is supporting IKB by drawing up traffic concepts and traffic guidance plans.
