The BERNARD Gruppe is carrying out the pedological monitoring and documentation of the temporary construction areas for the four-track railway line upgrade between Linz and Marchtrenk.

The 12 hectares of agricultural land will be recultivated after use and returned to the farmer. Deviations in soil functions will be determined based on the documentation of existing conditions before and after the construction work. To compensate for eventual deviations, additional measures can be derived to restore the original productive capacity of the soil.
The BERNARD Gruppe has been commissioned by ÖBB-Infrastruktur AG to survey and document the soil structure before and after the construction work and to advise and assist with the return of the recultivated areas.
