The BERNARD Gruppe was commissioned by the city of Regensburg to prepare a traffic report.
The city of Regensburg would like to advance further urban development in the south of the city near the football stadium and realize a new technology park on the TechCampus. The aim is to comprehensively analyze the traffic impact of the new uses and ensure that both the stadium operations and the commercial use of the TechCampus can be handled smoothly.
The planning area is located in a highly dynamic traffic environment. The surrounding area is characterized by the Regensburg University Hospital, the University of Regensburg and the adjacent residential area of Oberisling. In addition, the A3 motorway and Franz-Josef-Strauß-Allee determine traffic conditions. The traffic report examines the impact of the planned urban development on traffic flow and assesses the performance of the existing road infrastructure.
