At the beginning of this year, the BERNARD Gruppe has been awarded the contract for the test engineering services for the new bridge project “Neue Donaubrücke Mauthausen”.
The existing bridge over the Danube in Mauthausen connects Lower and Upper Austria and is of great importance for the region. A new bridge with a length of 582 m will be built by 2027, which will replace the current bridge and will be designed for the predicted increase in traffic.
The BERNARD Gruppe will be responsible for the verification of the structural design of the drawings and calculations for tender and execution phases.
