The BERNARD Gruppe was commissioned by ASFINAG Bau Management GmbH to prepare the tender documents and carry out local site supervision in the course of the upcoming renovation work on Saxenbrücke and Zaglbrücke, two bridges in the route network of the A13 Brenner motorway.
Due to years of wear and tear as well as increasing traffic volumes along the A13 Brenner motorway, significant renovation work is required for both bridge structures. The work includes extensive concrete rehabilitation in the area of the bridge piers and the abutments. In addition, static reinforcement measures to improve the superstructure of the Saxenbrücke are also part of the construction project.
