The BERNARD Gruppe was commissioned by the city of Leipzig to prepare a mobility and traffic report as part of the development of the district Mockauer Straße – Tauchaer Straße.
The “Mockauer Straße – Tauchaer Straße” district will be extensively reorganized in terms of urban development and integrated with the surrounding districts. As part of the development planning process, a mobility and traffic report will be prepared for the neighborhood to ensure the development and accessibility of the project area and the mobility of current and future neighborhood users. In addition, plans for a new tram line will be considered.
The tasks of the BERNARD Gruppe include an analysis of the traffic environment, a survey of moving and stationary traffic, a forecast of traffic volumes, calculations of traffic efficiency, as well as a parking space and neighborhood garage concept. The mobility report will include measures to provide future residents, users and visitors to the new urban quarter with attractive and innovative mobility options.
