A comprehensive traffic survey was conducted in Ludwigsburg to analyze the effects of working from home and changed mobility behavior in the context of climate change. Various vehicle classes were recorded—from bicycles, cars, and delivery vehicles to trucks, buses, and special-purpose vehicles—at intersections and cross-sections throughout the city. The surveys were carried out using camera-based traffic data collection systems, whose measurement data was then read out, processed, and presented in continuous traffic value plans, including the proportion of heavy traffic. A results report summarizes the key findings for further traffic planning.
