The BERNARD Mobility Analyser (BMA) permanently records moving and stationary traffic and provides reliable, anonymised traffic data in real time – for more efficient, safer, and sustainable mobility.
The BMA provides cities and operators with a robust sensor system for multimodal traffic detection: Pedestrians, bicycle traffic and micromobility as well as light and heavy motorised traffic are automatically detected and classified. The application is versatile, ranging from simple traffic volume counts to complex turning movement counts at intersections and parking space management of parking areas. This data forms the basis for efficient transport planning and parking management.
Thanks to day/night operation, IP65 protection and LTE connection, the BMA is suitable for permanent use in street and parking areas – while ensuring privacy-by-design.
