At the busy traffic junction just outside Bremerhaven, the traffic light system is controlled using occupancy-dependent . The connection of a Bernard Mobility Analyzer (BMA) at each of the four junction arms to the Bernard Mobility Controller (BMC) enables occupancy-dependent signal transmission to the existing control unit. The sensor technology offers a wide range of configuration options, such as class-dependent control, close-range and long-range detection, and integrated traffic counting. Historical data and real-time information are available for analysis and optimization via an online dashboard.
