In order to reduce noise pollution for local residents, the first green noise barrier was erected on the A 12 Inntal motorway section between Kramsach and Hagau. In addition to visual and noise protection, the noise barrier provides a habitat for insects and birds, lowers the ambient temperature, and contributes to biodiversity.
