For the new construction of the cross-border railway bridge, an outstanding engineering structure was achieved with an extraordinary slenderness of the two concrete arches that merge into each other in interaction with the steel main girders and a transversely tensioned in-situ concrete roadway slab. The project was awarded the European Concrete Award 2014 of the European Concrete Societies Network. In addition, the BERNARD Gruppe was commissioned for 17 stations within the framework of the Rhine Valley Concept from the submission to the execution phase.
