With the New construction of the Betriebswerkstätte Pabing, a modern infrastructure for long-term safe and efficient railway operation is being created. The BERNARD Gruppe contributes its comprehensive planning expertise in the field of Railway Technology to a complex overall project and supports the technical implementation from the initial planning steps through to execution readiness.

The focus of the services is on the planning of the track systems and drainage in the outdoor area, including contact line, cable routes and cable ducts. The scope of services is complemented by 50 Hz planning as well as lighting planning in the track area. The work is carried out consistently from the preliminary project phase through to the execution project and ensures coordinated and consistent planning across all service phases.

A key component of the project is the railway engineering planning on the basis of the applicable regulations and the specific requirements of Salzburger Verkehrsbetriebe. In parallel, the planning of the safety systems is carried out, and in the area of contact line and energy supply the BERNARD Gruppe also provides a broad range of services. Particular attention is paid to functional and maintenance-friendly track field lighting, which is designed to be insect-friendly due to the adjacent national reserve. The planning ranges from basic analysis through preliminary planning and final design to execution design, tendering and support of the construction works.

With the Betriebswerkstätte Pabing, a project is being created that combines high technical requirements with clearly structured planning processes. The BERNARD Gruppe thus makes a significant contribution to sustainable and future-oriented railway infrastructure.
