The town of Schönebeck is committed to a sustainable and data-based transport development. With the development of the “mobility concept / update of the transport development plan”, the town is creating the basis for an enduring mobility strategy. The BERNARD Gruppe was commissioned to develop the sustainable plan together with the town of Schönebeck. The starting signal will be given with the required urban traffic surveys.
Automated camera systems will be used to assess a reliable data basis. These will record traffic flows at central intersections and provide anonymized information on traffic volumes, directions of travel and vehicle categories. The analysis will be carried out directly in the system, making the results immediately available for further planning. The findings will be incorporated into the mobility concept. The goal of the concept is sustainable and multimodal mobility that takes all modes of transport into account and improves the quality of life in the town of Schönebeck. By carrying out the planning, the BERNARD Gruppe is helping Schönebeck to create a sustainable, safe and resource-efficient transport infrastructure.
