The replacement of the B 304 federal highway bridge over the A 99 motorway near Vaterstetten is part of an extensive renovation program along the Munich motorway ring. The existing bridge needs to be rebuilt in its entirety due to its structural condition. The construction measure will improve road safety and ensure the long-term efficiency of the A 99 motorway.
The BERNARD Gruppe is preparing the landscape conservation plan for the project, as well as the required faunistic studies and habitat potential analyses. The aim is to assess and ecologically compensate for the impact on nature and the landscape in accordance with the Bavarian Compensation Ordinance (BayKompV). The adjacent protected forest and sensitive biotope areas are considered in the planning, which provides the basis for a nature-compatible execution of the construction work. In this way, the BERNARD Gruppe is making an important contribution to the environmentally sound implementation of a central infrastructure project in the greater Munich area.
