The Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) are planning a comprehensive modernization at Götzis station in Vorarlberg. The goal is an efficient, future-proof transportation infrastructure – in harmony with the requirements of the surrounding area.

The BERNARD Gruppe is supporting the project with an interdisciplinary range of services that includes the technical route planning for around five kilometers of renewed track systems as well as a comprehensive noise study. The aim is not only to meet the infrastructural requirements, but also to ensure the long-term protection of local residents. The entire measure is considered from a holistic perspective: The analysis takes into account both the current urban development and settlement structure situation, as well as the forecast development in the vicinity of the route. The noise study will not only assess the direct emissions of the planned route, but also its potential impact on neighboring residential and recreational areas. On this sound data basis, targeted measures – for example in the form of active or passive noise protection solutions – can be integrated into planning at an early stage. The result will be a future-oriented infrastructure project that combines technical performance with a high quality of life. Commitment: A sustainable balance between mobility progress and environmental compatibility to ensure responsible project development.
