The BERNARD Gruppe has been commissioned by TenneT TSO GmbH to provide planning services for the preparation of the Regional Planning Procedure (RPP) for a new 380 kV overhead line project in the Burghausen/Simbach region.

The aim is to develop a technically feasible and spatially compatible route that will serve as the basis for the future planning approval application. The project involves the construction of a new double-circuit 380 kV overhead line between a planned substation near Burghausen and a newly proposed substation in the Simbach am Inn area. As part of the ongoing preparatory work for the Regional Planning Procedure, the BERNARD Gruppe is contributing its many years of expertise in route planning. Based on the defined study areas and planning variants, a comprehensive recording and evaluation of potential impacts on protected assets is currently underway. These findings are being analyzed, documented, and further processed in coordination with technical requirements in an iterative process. The current project phase focuses on the preparation and structuring of the documentation required to initiate the Regional Planning Procedure. In the next step, a preferred route will be developed that can be submitted as a recommendation for the upcoming approval process. With its technical and methodological expertise, the BERNARD Gruppe supports solution-oriented project development in line with a sustainable energy infrastructure.
