The planning approval decision for section C2 of the SuedLink grid expansion project has been officially issued by Germany’s Federal Network Agency (BNetzA). The decision is a key step in the approval of this major supra-regional infrastructure project. Section C2 represents an essential link within the southern route and has, in recent years, been intensively planned and supported by the BERNARD Gruppe as part of a consortium.

The BERNARD Gruppe continues to be actively involved in the project with the clear aim of ensuring that the project runs smoothly. We contribute our extensive expertise in route corridor planning and are in continuous contact with all project partners. The obvious progress in section C2 illustrates the great importance of well-founded engineering services for the successful realization of complex infrastructure projects, and at the same time shows how technical planning services can make a genuine contribution to the energy transition in Germany.
