The BERNARD Gruppe was commissioned by the city of Innsbruck to develop a multimodal mobility concept for the market district and the Anpruggen/Mariahilf area on the opposite side of the Inn.

In the city center of Innsbruck around the market square and in the Mariahilf area, extensive construction measures and urban developments are planned. As part of this, the above-ground road infrastructure must be redesigned. The BERNARD Gruppe was commissioned to develop solutions to reorganize public street space, improve the guidance of pedestrian and bicycle traffic, and create the basis for designing an attractive, sustainable urban mobility space.

The project includes a comprehensive analysis of the current situation with traffic counts, an impact assessment of measures using a traffic model, and the development of a multimodal mobility concept.
