This year, we are supporting the Society for MucoPolySaccharidoses and Similar Diseases (MPS) with our Christmas fundraising campaign.
MPS conditions are congenital, slowly progressing, and fatal metabolic diseases in children. They lead to severe physical and/or mental impairment and years of severe suffering. The average life expectancy of these children is 15 years.
Being rare diseases, MPS are very little known. Nevertheless, mucopolysaccharidoses and children suffering from these conditions are a reality. The diagnosis of MPS often triggers tragedies in families.
With our donation, we want to contribute to making everyday life easier for MPS children and their families.
