The BERNARD Gruppe is carrying out traffic surveys on behalf of the city of Munich aimed at connecting the Altstadtradlring.
in 2019, Munich’s city council adopted the objectives of a citizens’ petition for the Altstadtradlring. To promote bicycle traffic, and as an important step towards a shift to sustainable transport, Munich will be equipped with a bicycle ring road around the old town with continuous and safe cycle paths. In this context, adjustments to traffic guidance and the reorganization of the existing road space will be necessary. On behalf of the city of Munich, the BERNARD Gruppe is currently examining various options for the two sections of Frauenstraße/Blumenstraße and Sonnenstraße. The focus is on the expected traffic effects and the potential for urban and transport development.
