The BERNARD Gruppe is equipping the truck stops operated by Euro Rastpark Gruppe, Germany’s largest provider of motorway service and rest areas, with BERNARD Mobility Analysers. The data obtained by the sensors will ensure that the current capacity utilization can be considered in the service area operator’s reservation system.
The Mobility BERNARD Mobility Analysers will be used to determine the vehicles entering and exiting each service area. The anonymized data will be made available to the reservation system in real time. In this way, parking space capacities can be planned based on current utilization and existing reservations.
