The BERNARD Gruppe was commissioned by the municipal services Stadtwerke Verkehrsgesellschaft Frankfurt am Main to plan the reverser for line 19.
Frankfurt’s current local transport plan envisages the introduction of an additional tramway line 19 along Friedberger Landstraße to the Bodenweg stop. The planned route of the new line requires a reverser, which must be planned north of the Bodenweg stop. To this end, variants have already been considered and discussed with the relevant municipal project participants. These possible options need to be taken into account in the planning process.
The contract awarded to the BERNARD Gruppe comprises the basic evaluation and prefeasibility study.
