The BERNARD Gruppe was commissioned by the Indian Ministry of Road Transport and Highways to design the approximately 6 km long Sadhna Pass tunnel.
The Sadhna tunnel will be part of the Rafiabad-Kupwara-Chowkibal-Tangdhar-Chamkot road in the federal states Jammu and Kashmir. The tunnel will make the avalanche-prone passage of the Sadhna Mountains possible and safe even in winter.
The services of the BERNARD Gruppe include feasibility study, tender design, and the design of the tunnel equipment, and they are provided in close interdisciplinary cooperation between our specialists from International Projects, Electrical Engineering, and Geotechnical and Tunnel Engineering.
