The Landeck tunnel is part of the A12 Inntal motorway and is located between the Oberinntal junction (A12 motorway) and the Fließ junction (B180 Reschenstraße state road). The two villages of Landeck and Zams were relieved of through traffic by the construction of the Landeck tunnel, which opened in 2000. In the coming years, an overall rehabilitation of the road tunnel is necessary, and escape and rescue routes must be created, requiring environmental studies.

The BERNARD Gruppe was commissioned by the Austrian motorway company (ASFINAG) with the environmental study. In the course of this study, among other things, basic data will be collected and analyzed, and permit application documents will be prepared. Furthermore, cooperating departments and disciplines will be coordinated. The goal is the preparation of the permit application documents to meet specific environmentally relevant Austrian regulations. The BERNARD Gruppe will accompany the project until the completion of the construction phase.
