In the form of a 6-day training program held by two experts of the BERNARD Gruppe, a knowledge transfer on hydropower was initiated in Tsirang, Bhutan.
About 60 Bhutanese employees of the Royal Audit Authority were introduced to the topic of hydropower plants, including contract types and management, interpretation of contracts; provision of funding and resources for feasibility studies, and preparation of tender documents. Best and worst practice examples were used to analyze hydropower projects, highlight best practices, and draw attention to areas of risk.
The training, which was financed by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA), took place at the Professional Development Centre in Tsirang, Bhutan, and is contributing to the many years of successful cooperation of the BERNARD Gruppe in Bhutan.
