From September 7 to 12, 2021, the BERNARD Gruppe will be displaying its interdisciplinary engineering skills in Hall A2 Stand C27, with a focus on the MOBILITY business unit.
In particular, the fields Traffic Engineering and Transport Planning as well as BERNARD Technologies with its in-house developed BERNARD Mobility Analyser (BMA) will play a major role at the exhibition stand.
In a live demo showcasing anonymous person recognition, the BERNARD Mobility Analyser (BMA) will use optical recognition to record the flow of visitors at the trade fair. Persons will be recognized anonymously and counted when crossing a virtual line. Visitors will be able to watch the live stream of the camera via a screen. Using a model of parking search traffic, a parking space registration with the BMA will be demonstrated. The information will be output via an app graphically displaying the availability of each parking space. The microscopic traffic simulation will give an impression of how work is done in the field of Traffic Engineering. A wide variety of projects and their design and planning challenges will be presented.
